Strange name, but a very professional map. Chris is maybe best known from his DM-AgressiveTencendies, which I didn't actually find too good, but others seem to have. Anyway, this map is a great one in every aspect. The texturing and lighting make it look like a original UT map. The flow is fast and map is connected well, and you can get around the level very quickly. Chris recommends 2-6 players for this map, which is quite good. However I found this one a little bit too roomy for a 1on1, but add a few more players and this one plays like a dream.
The level is made partly of textures that were included in UT, but not used in it, so the map looks good and fresh at the same time. The theme reminds me of DM-Turbine and DM-Conveyor though, but these maps kick ass so it's only a good thing. I have heard a lot of praising for this map, and I accept the most of it. This map isn't a 9,5 or 10 map however, but still more than earns it's merit from CliffyB's "this map owns" pages. Get this one, you won't get dissapointed! |
