| Sir Xavius 11-09-2005 01:56 PM MST | Rating: 4 | | No map has a greater Marathon feel than this one.
Most of the water is shallow, with some goodies in the deeper parts. I'm into canyon maps, but there are not enough ledges to get excited about. There are a few tight corridors, and one or two small rooms, but nothing eye-catching. The bots do well, but i couldn't get them to sit still and defend the dark chamber with me. Also, the sniper "tower" is not safe at all; your enemies will find you!
| Nahand 11-09-2005 05:37 PM MST | Rating: 4.5 | | ... the last of the Marathon2ut maps to leave my PC, this one is the best in that retro feeling (of the ones available in UT, that is). Still nothing too fancy. Also, Xevious, what you pointed out seem only good arguments to me, about the map :) ...
| franko 11-09-2005 11:19 PM MST | Rating: 4 | | I had played this a few times, both against bots, and on lan. Most of the made-for-UT marathon maps sucked (IMO) because of the differences in game play. I had great fun playing maps like wrathnomore in Marathon back in its day, but the gameplay takes a big dive in translation to UT. Perhaps if someone changed the scaling and changed textures that would help. Or just let them fade away. This one is still on my hard drive though, just to reminisce.
