While it is not up to todays graphical standards, it's still fun to play after all this time. My main gripe with this map is that the skybox is a big HOM if you're using Direct3D (I can't use OpenGL on my ATI - The unofficial D3D8 driver seems to work though). For some reason it doesn't like that the skyzone actor is inside a non-solid brush. Actually I'm kinda amazed that any renderer will work in this instance.
Small gripes include the lip around the blue flag 'pad' that you have to jump to get onto (kinda interesting with all the jump boots laying around), the long wait to die in the water, and the edge of the world effect. This last gripe is amplified by the abundant presence of jump boots. Otherwise it is fun to scramble on the rocks and try to get to places that you shouldn't.
Personally, I have my own private version of this map that fixes all that (and a bsp hole) except for the edge of the world thing. If anyone knows how to get ahold of Sol (I've sent an e-mail to the address in the readme) i'd like to ask if he'll let me release it as an SE edition or something.
Edit: Oops! I forgot to mention - the map is assymetrical
