Little buggy near the redeemer too. Don't like the portal that takes you off the end of the ship either. This map is great otherwise though, with anti-gravity and all power-ups, and good gameplay when you can finally manage to find somebody.

And it was quite a heart-stopping moment when--all of a sudden & completely unexpected this [no spoilers, you know what I mean] turned up: shock! Reminded me even more of the movie, way cool & creepy. What always makes me stumble, gameflow-wise, though, are the teleportals: the "transporting point" doesn't seem to be in alignment with the portal itself. That makes for quite a lot tac-disruptive to-and-fros.... But otherwise--cool! I mean, I know it's too big for a hard & fast UT map, but I like creepy-future-hide-&-seeks, and I almost wish El chicoverde had also edited the ship's hulking tower for gameplay... ^.^
Amendment: I'm going down to 7, from 8. These teleportals' misaligned transport points get more annoying by the hour. How about fixing it? How come it has to be fixed in the first place? I've never seen this kind of behavior before... usually, you get transported the very moment you step through...

| Fuzzy Logic 01-12-2003 12:34 PM MST | Rating: 9 | | Awesome map. This is the one I play the most. It's huge, which means there's stalking as well as fragging, so tactics are the key. Bots do ok but do tend to favour one of the lower level rooms - it's all too easy to aim the Redeemer in there...
Not perfect but thoroughly enjoyable.
