| Sir Xavius 01-05-2006 02:00 PM MST | Rating: 8.5 | | Try as i might, i cannot understand why i LOVE this map so much!! Simple but mazey, tight but open, easy but challenging... This map has made it to the top of my rotation (ThanQ, XMaps, for making this possible!).
The chambers are tall, but there is no z-play. Weapons are plentiful, so if you've run out in the middle of a firefight, pull back and run to one of the many side "corridors." You are rarely safe, though, as you can kill and be killed when someone shoot thru one of the "column slots" that slice thru the huge metallic "canisters." Maybe the nice thing about this map is there is no sniping, no z-axis interference, and hardly any surprises. You can run away if it's too heavy, or jump into a sure catfight in one of the chambers that holds all the goodies. If there's one criticism, i'd have put the belt and the armor farther away from each other. Altho it IS kinda fun when everyone goes after the one guy who picked up the shield belt, the armor, the RL, and the kegger within a few steps. (EVERYONE KILL THE BEAST!!)
Since i only play with bots, this gaming type is all i know; that's why i love this map — go as a gang and frag the gang that invades your territory!
If you like simply-designed, simply-embroidered, goody-hoggin fun, you need this map...
EDIT: For extra fun, use the Volatile Ammo, UWar, GTX, and NOMADRockets mutators, and take out the Redeemer and Damage Amps (there are at least 3 Amps!). If you have the CPUs, use the Burning Player mutator as well.

Absolutely no Z axis of any kind-(they had it Liquidated:) and every corner looked the same. Pickups strewn around like they were just thrown on the floor. Not bad looking for its tiny file size, but i got bored playing it in 2 minutes.
