This map needs a3text.utx to run, which is available in many urban style maps on Nali City, including DM-UrbanArenaII and CTF-Midtown.
For a map that attempts to be realistic, the teleporters are a very bad idea. I'm not a fan of teleporters in DM maps; I belong to the school of thought that they equal poor flow planning. Architecture is mostly boxy and primitives. The textures used are great, and for a reason: when this map was first released there was much controversy concerning them, and if you're "in the know" about maps you'll see why once you load this map up. If you're not, it's not my place. Lighting comes from nowhere for the most part, and bots don't use the map to its fullest potential. The map is wide open which causes slowdowns on some systems. M@tthijs has moved on to better maps and I'm sorry this map has to resurface while we're importing reviews into the DB, but it did, so here it is. |
