This remake of Mirp's Unreal level, DMCandle, is a fast-paced map with very good X,Y and Z-axis possibilities. There are many different fighting areas, all of which present their own challenges and opportunities for survival. Mirp has taken some time in the design, and it shows.

Item placement is extremely good here, with powerful weapons and items in difficult to reach places (always a good combination). Of course, there's enough laid out to ensure top-notch fireworks as soon as you start playing. Bots are adept at getting around, and I think this one is well-suited for online team play, with either just a time limit or about 100 frags as the limit. You're going to get a lot of kills in DM-Candle][.

8-12 people should fit in here nicely, maybe a few more. You can add this one to your collection right now - it's a keeper!

Above average map, but barely. This was one of the first levels I downloaded. Layout and flow is wierd and therefore tests a different set of skills that hardcore players aren't used to. Which is a good thing if done well.

This map was ok for unreal, and didnt end up on my regular rotation. This is UT and doesnt quite cut the standard.

Didn't this map used to have a higher rating? The map is cool, but really really boring! That stupid pit at the bottom... Don't get me started!

Wow, i'm surprised people didn't like this. I for onr one think the pit at the bottom is the perfect arena, with the two boxed to dodge behind, and the button in the middle to trap anyone. I've had many kickass fights in that pit, it was great. Personally I think this map is awesome, well around an 8.5 or so. This map is quick to navigate and learn, I suggest you get this map.
