| MassChAoS 04-29-2003 08:37 PM MDT | Rating: 0 | | Considering the title, I'm wondering why you did bother with it.
| MadderPAKI 06-12-2003 05:24 PM MDT | Rating: 0 | | This map is such an excellent campers paradise. I couldn't find anyone because the damn thing don't work
| Rob 10-03-2003 08:48 AM MDT | Rating: 6 | | I don't know what file is missing for you but I happen to have it. So much hatred... You have to know that this map is nice, well built, in a DM-ArcaneTemple theme. There are some places to snipe, though the title is not appropriate. Only bad thing is this map is too big. Around 15-20 minutes for a botmatch...
| fluffymike 06-27-2005 11:45 AM MDT | Rating: 10 | | Another of my favourite sniper maps, beautifully designed and executed. Really needs the trans to be on or you can't access much of the map, and needs an hour or so of exploration before you can get the map inside your head. When you've done that it isn't too big at all, and you can easily track people down, and corner them or ambush them. An hours game can result in maybe 20-25 frags being enough to win a 5 or 6 player game.
| niX 06-28-2005 01:51 AM MDT | | Let me act like mike on this one. this map sucks because its sniper... and i dont play sniper.
| IndySkyz 06-28-2005 12:22 PM MDT | Rating: 7 | | Nix you are not acting like mike, he rated the map based on the gameplay style it was made for, just because he personally likes that style of play does'nt mean he rates it a 10 automatically, all you show is how big a dork you are, good job letting everyone know to not even bother reading your comments, for that I give you a 10. as for the map its an ok map with some good sniper spots.
| franko 11-10-2005 01:20 AM MST | Rating: 7 | | I like this map for 16 or more bots or lan play - TDM - with a mix of humans and bots. Some sort of huge temple, with some fallen blocks here and there of giant magnitude.
One can still get passable framerates in most places on this map, on a lower-end system, as low as 400 mhz, even though this map is HUUUGE (Probably shouldn't try playing this map with more than 12-14 bots though if you only have a 400mhz system). I know 'cause a couple years back I had played this map on a 400mhz system with 32meg vid card and 320 ram, 800x600, medium textures, 14 bots.
Item placement isn't the best, but it's OK.
There's plenty of places to snipe and camp, but it's more than a sniper map. In fact there's plenty of places and opportunities to stalk and sneak up on snipers and impact hammer 'em, or translocate on 'em. If you have a bot covering you, it will, but might take it 10 minutes or more to get to where you are. One can either warp to either of the two areas or take the long route on foot. Yes, you want translocator on for this map.
There's also a nice trap where yaz can squash people going for goodies. Two redeemers that I know of, one in each section, and yes you can fly from one section to the other if not just to blow everyone up, but to find out where the heck they are.
Load up as many bots as your system can handle, set the time limit to one hour and give it a try. I suggest a gell-wristrest on your mousepad for avoiding carpel tunnel syndrome. Works for me.
| Agent X 03-06-2006 10:14 PM MST | Rating: 6 | | It's a big open map in parts with an interesting FFA layout for 16-32 people. For that type of gameplay I give it a 7, other types of gameplay a 4. So I give this map a 6, because I lean towards large groups of people.
