Reviewer QAPete Overall Score:  7/10 Date NC2 12-08-2000 Note: This is an old review, imported into our database. This is a damned good arena-style map, worthy of your downloading time! Matthew, send in those Unreal maps you made, because if they're anywhere near as good as this one, I want to see them! Bots are well-pathed, and explore virtually the entire level, thirsty for blood. This puppy is going to be a server favorite, too. Forget sniping here - grab that Flak Cannon, Shock Rifle or Rocket Launcher and get one with it, man! Layout is excellent, and you'll have a blast trying to find, and use, the Redeemer in this tight arena. Item placement in general is very good (love the location of the Power Amplifier), and I liked the way the halls surrounding the main arena have been broken up - it really makes the map much more interesting. Six to twelve players is about right for DM-Aspire, a map you're going to want to have as part of your collection.

Agent X Rating: 7   Good map, but the thing I find most amusing about the review, is that the reviewer obviously didn't play the map enough to know that there is an enhanced shock rifle in the map. Now curious folks downloading might want to know this as it is considered an overkill weapon. Not the first mistake in reviews at Nali City I'm sure. Matthew 'Shade' Ramshaw   Umm - well actually, the score ws 8.5.. This first UT map of mine was released a year ago now - and was updated with a newer version some months later - in which I withdrew the supershock rifle and made several enhancements. That updated version was sent to NaliCity and everywhere else so I think by now that would be taken into account - so aobviously it never got replayed by the re-reviewer . Every other site I sent it to updated it - so before telling people that the map has something in it that it DOES NOT is totally unfair. I play with AgentX a lot though, it just seems fit to watch someone across from you get blown away by a shotgun =) But really, this map is fun to play, but I think the items need some work, and good job with the enhanced Shock Rifle, I love that thing :) sextech Rating: 9   Finally! I found the map! Since i reinstalled UT, i haven't been able to find alot of the old kick-ass maps i used to play. This is one of them! BTW, if you don't want the enhanced shockrifle, open up UEd and remove it!
