WOW!!! I really want to give this map a higher score, but it is lacking the originality required to make that grade. That aside, this map is flawless, it is a small 2-4 player map, using the Chizra textures, so the whole level has an ancient Mayanesque feel to it. The main feature of the map is a coutyard with an overlooking balcony and a glorious pond, there are three pillars which have the rocket launcher and ammo atop them, and make wonderful cover. Surrounding the central courtyard are a series of moody corridors, lit with warm natural flame coloured lighting that really draw you into the mood. The hallways lead to smaller courtyards, the first is very easy to get cornered in, and has a Big Keg o' Health, the second has been over run by a mudslide and is divided into two parts by a wall that has a plank going over it. The mud is among the best I have seen in this game, it is gorgeous. The outdoor area contains all sorts of power ups and weapons and seamlessly blends with the rest of the level. There are a couple of small rooms with other weapons, one (With the Flak cannon) sits above the main courtyard pool and the room is filled with water, a nice touch I thought.
The one thing that stands out in my eyes, is the attention to detail; the pool in the main courtyard has water flowing in, and at the back of the pool, he has modelled a small drainage area. Lighting is perfect, you do not doubt the environment you are in for a second. As I mentioned before, the weapon placement is amazing, especially the rocket launcher, as many firefights erupt around the pillars. The bots are great too, they use the corners, pillars and piles of mud very well, and are suitably ruthless! Overall, I am very impressed with this map, even more so knowing that it is the second map Julebakst has done, his first DM-Asteroid is also good, but a very ambitious map. What are you waiting for? Download this map right now!

| C.H.U.D. | Rating: 7 | | When this map was originally released, it got a 9.5/10. If this is the same review, why is it 6.5 now?
| Blooddog_sweden | Rating: 6 | | Plays well,bots doing good but easy layout and to borring.
| Lustmord | Rating: 7 | | Hey, correct me if I'm wrong, but 99% of the maps on Nali City (whether they're well done or not) are lacking in originality. I like it.

| Gades 05-26-2008 09:34 AM MDT | Rating: 7.5 | | Pretty good map, it's in my ratation anyways. Only problem is, bots won't ride the lift properly. Flow probably isn't the best either, but map is rather small so that's not a real problem.
