DM-Alpu-TOURNEY is without question epic quality. The layout is awesome, the game play is awesome, and the architecture is awesome. This map is a keeper. I downloaded it when I first saw it on Nali City because I liked some of Tonnberry's previous maps but this map is probably Tonnberry's best.

Alpu has a high fun factor. The whole map flows very well, if you know the map you can easily own a match against someone that doesn't know the map but has more skill. You can silently watch someone go one way and quickly go another way and cut them off with a shock combo or barrage of rockets. Polys reach a max of about 250 in view so game play stays very smooth. Bots are pathed nicely although they occasionally get caught up a little on a few of the slopes. The flow makes this map stand out from other maps. Architecture was also very nice. The well thought out layout plus the architecture make this map a keeper. Textures were chosen nicely, but on the wall lights, there's a texture that's a little unaligned but otherwise texturing is nice. Download this map and add it to your collection.
