If you liked DM-Morpheus you are going to love this map. Outdoor and low gravity with somewhere to run but nowhere to hide, this map against human players provides some of the most intense game play I've come across. The bots tend to hang around the lowest level, rarely (never?) visiting the top platform to get the Redeemer. Probably by chance, this adds to the game play as you can try and increase your frag count by mixing it down below, or going high for some Redeeming and sniping.
For ChaosUT fans, this map makes great use of the Vortex. You will often find players trying to dominate the top platform in order to be there when it finally appears.
| The Purple Bunny 07-05-2003 08:28 PM MDT | Rating: 9 | | This is a very good one-on-one or multi-player map. It's very simple, symmetric, with weapon and health layouts in very well positions. It's really a rush to get to a weapon first. The balance of one weapon on the lower levels and two on the higher levels makes for a smooth gameplay to get all of them. The look of the level is excellent, with the lighting coming from the correct sources, and being distributed evenly. The curving ramps add to originality as well. The jump pads allow for access to the higher platforms easily, and bots follow them very well. Although the bots don't go for the Redeemer, it's not too difficult to get to the teleporter for it.
Very well-done map that should be tried by lovers of one-on-one maps.

Some misaligned textures, which shouldn't take long to align in such small map. Lack of originality in the skybox, whould have been perfect to make a skybox as original in design as the map. what shal we then give the perfect complex maps if we hand a 9.5 to this map?
