This map's large and in charge. Based off of the space station in 2001: A Space Odyssey and with some custom texturing, SlartyBartFest did a fairly good job here. I really dig the zero-g multiple zoned rooms. But the question is, how's the deathmatch experience in here? Well, not so great. Some of the lifts are too slow; the level is fairly convoluted and repetitive as well, which makes it difficult to find your way around. It's a convincing space station, with lots of greys, but not a fantastic DM experience. |

| fragswill | Rating: 4 | | Hehe, this used to be a 10-rated map :D
| Kain | Rating: 3.5 | | a novelty, nothing else. not all the perfect a novelty either :(
| Shock6822 | Rating: 5 | | 1337 theme and environment
| Luquado | Rating: 4.5 | | Fragswill: That's why I ditched the old review by whoever the heck it was and rewrote it.
| Nightmare | Rating: 3 | | Good thing you did that, Luq. I would have probably downloaded this map after hearing it was a 10, then found out it sucked. I have a 56K modem and so I don't have the luxury of downloading everything in sight. For the author: yuck, yuck, triple yuck. Make an original level. Originality=fun=higher score=people actually wanting to play your map=higher self confidence in your mapping=more good maps.
| Akuma | Rating: 0 | | I remember the hype over this when it was first released, phrases like 'The most incredible exploration of a stunning theme ever attempted in Unreal' and 'Stunning photorealism matched with incredible gameplay' were tossed around by hit-hungry admins. So I downloaded it, played it and sent it straight to the recycle bin. It was terrible 2 years ago and it's not aged well. FWIW those 'amazing' portals render 1/2 the weapons unusable - brilliant!
| Lophead | Rating: 1 | | The only thing i like about this map in the unreal days was it had a hot chic on the wall next to a bunk bed. Now for UT, i dont like much else either.
| Lustmord | Rating: 5 | | A cool concept, not so greatly implemented. Although it's a much better experience over a LAN or online than against bots. And besides, it's got PC Accelerator (R.I.P).
| Turboman | Rating: 7.5 | | Just like in unreal, this map rocks
| Lord Jon Ray | Rating: 8 | | Being a UT map designer myself, this was a nice work of art. If only thoses who played these maps even knew half of what goes into making one, they'd find a new appreciation for whats before them. But I understand the gamer's world too, with so many maps, your taste and sense kinda get overkilled. Besides a few zones/section that I saw the bots get stuck, I really enjoyed this map. Also nice little Shuttle ride around the space station.
| ayJay | Rating: 5 | | All show and no go. But what's on show does rock, though...
