there are 4 team location and the most difficult part.
Red:this base is really hard to get their flag. and bots are really stupid. take elevator to take the flag.Bots's defence is really good.
Blue: Near Green Base. If you observe closely you will see a blue flag. Note: is you let bots take blue flag they may be stuck on the elevator.when they want to go up.they're stuck(for green team's bots)
Green:My chosen team.the flag loaction is really a good place. you can easyli defend against the enemy.
Gold: The Team that always eliminated in first. Just like Dom-Leadworks. Their place is like a control pts.Hard defence.
Sum: whatever you playing this maps. you must set 20min minimum. Not just me to all of you. chose red or green team in beginnig.
and bots are really stupid, they stuck , they wait , is make me laugh.
| Infernus 04-01-2008 03:49 AM MDT | Rating: 7 | | My favourite DOM map for MCTF...aw, you shouldn't have, you're too kind. The map retains the fun of DOM-Metal Dream, but takes it to a new level. I love the way the bases are set out, each has its own strengths and weaknesses, making it a diffent challenge taking each team's flag, plenty of variety. The centre area is a bit of a ckokepoint, so a bloodbath generally ensues here. The map flows well, with good transition from base to base.
There are two main points, I think, that could improve it, which is wh my rating is a 7, despite my enthusiastic comments: 1) The bot pathing could be improved. The biggest problem is the lift up to the green base. Bots have a tendancy, when going on the lift, to jump back down to the bottom when they're halfway up. I viewed this on spectator mode, with just green and gold left, and it just reached a stalemate, as when any bot tried to take the green flag, or a green tried to capture the gold one, they would just jump off the life, get stuck under the life, and get gunned down. Improved bot pathing, please. 2)More use of the lower levels, please.
Otherwise a good map, keep it up!
