I was eating pasta and I snorted a noodle. Nice. map is s'ok, but has texture problems and loses it's flavor quickly. Deceased 06-02-2003 04:38 AM MDT Rating: 5   ok...so this mao is a little different from the ones we are getting used to seeing. {linkin park}master makes this sound like the map everyone should have, perfect rating, and all the other things that say this map is one to tell the pro's to move over and make room for some new guy. well in my opinion this map is just another addition to the countless maps i laugh at. i know its alot better than anything i could make... but since that guys tried to make this map sound good and wasted my time by making me download i rate this map as my opinion on his comment. that guy was drunk when he rated this.. no way does this map deserve a perfect rating. The textures are somewhat different from the usual textures... but theses textures, after a while, did not look too good... a wall texture was used for a floor many times around the map. as for wepon placement i cant honestly say anything about that because i didnt find any o_O i just mugged the bots :) also, staying with the texturing, i noticed some of the plain, grey textures from the xtortion.utx texture pack.. these textures against to red/orange textures the auther used really really made me wanna fire up editor and change them. some good points about the map, the lower section running along the pipes gaurded by sentry guns.. also the boats acting as transport methods.. the other guys liked this map so much.. and ranted on about how good it is.. but he didnt mention why it was good and why he found it "soooooooo cool". the arcitecture is ok.. although most of the time i couldnt make out what the bases where supposed to be. the skybox... looks erm... crap. it may be becaused my UT is configured to run at high detail and the skybox textures have been enlarged and become less clear.. most of the map didnt makes sense due to my choice in detail settings.. well thats what i think it is.. maybe it isnt. over all this map is good.. and as i dont have a clue where any weapons are i'd say this was a good map for instagib. i can honestly say i found play ctf-andaction more fun than this.. but im not going to say why. no i will.. im an Instagib player and ctf-andaction may not have perfect architecture..layout.. or playerstarts ( you start facing the walls and in any "base" )but i prefer this map due to the fact tha it is pure mayhem when theres 6 people, instagib rifle ready...total carnage.. well....nw players must be wondering why im talking about instagib, maybe trying to promote it.. well im not.. :P just making my point and using it to help me comment on CTF-Xv8.
