A "me tiny" CTF map. I like the idea. The bases are not the same, so you can debate amongst yourselves if the map is balanced or not. The author pulled the theme off fairly well, but the bots need a good talking to. Yeah, I'd like to see an improved version of this one. The bots collect in one of the holes in the pool table when they are going for the jumpboots. Seeing three of them in there at a time is not uncommon. Then they will try to plow right through the wall of the hole. They also try to plow through the end of the table by the armor. They have some other quirks, but these were the main issues. It keeps them from getting the flag sometimes. The first match I played, three female bots kept collecting together as if they were having a Tupperware party. They were so busy going on about their nails and their hair that they completely forgot about the flag. The match ended 3-0. The second match was a repeat, but a male bot did manage to get them one point.

The other issue is the poly count when you're at the base on the shelves. The count goes over 400. This is mainly due to the light above the pool table. It will definitely cause some lag on slower machines. You'll probably have some trouble trying to draw a bead on somebody. The item placement was okay, and you have some new music to groove on. Play it with 8-12.

I would think this would be a much better map online, if you can handle the polys at the one base I mentioned. At least you won't have to put up with the girls slacking off.

For the author: Why don't you see if you can get the bots to work right, and maybe replace that high-poly light with a square one that tapers, or something along those lines? That should do wonders for that poly count. Play your map in spectator mode for a long time and watch the bots. You'll see where the problem spots are. Just play with a few bots when you do; the problems usually show up quicker this way. Also, those masked textures that you're using should not touch a regular surface. They will cause HOMs when they do. So say you make a square hole for a grating, and the square is 64x64. Make your mask 62x62 so it comes one unit from touching. That will get rid of that flickering stuff.

I really liked the music, but what's with the scans of Limp Bizkit and Eminem? They just flat out suck (try some Delta 9 or Soulfly). The window needed some work, too.

I agree... the window looks like crap. I also agree almost completely with the review... nice idea, good theme, horrible bots. I didn't even notice a slowdown on my comp, but it's higher end, so 400 polys usually don't bug me.

Not bad not very good. For the most part I agree with the review.

Very unique map that is fun for awhile, but it quickly wears thin...average at best.

Good thing Linkin Park's Hybird Theory cd is in the cd player :) and there is Playboy Magizine right under the shield belt. But, :( blue has the advantage when they have bots cause red bots suck on this level and blue bots do a great job attacking.
