Basically, Akuma has made a map I didn't like much into a map I do like. It has all the qualities and features of November - with one pretty major difference, and that is that it is symmetrical. It isn't one of these half-arsed 'copy a bit here, paste a bit here' jobs either - it has been made with care and the build quality is very close to the original. It is perfect for all those whingers who complain about assymetrical CTF maps. If you are playing without translocators there is one chokepoint at the entrance to either base - this was present in the first but it seemed less of an obstacle to an attacking team. Now you really do have to be careful and have backup when you make a flag run.

eliminates people complaining that one side is harder/easier to defend

yeah - it's good, but I'd rather play the original.

wtf? It seems everyone is determined to make NC scores seem too high. This is a quality map, and imo is better than the original.

Well it's a nice conversion but I do prefer the original. This shit about the map being unbalanced is just fucking shite. It plays perfectly well no matter what team you are on but you'll have to adopt different strategies. It's what makes a map more varied.

I agree with the rating and the review. The CE at the end is "Clan Edition" (right?)

Clans generally prefer balanced maps anyway considering that most matches are intended to be fair.

Myeh!

This is a MUCH MUCH improved version on November! Very balanced and much more playable. The ORIGINAL November level doesn't rate even a 5 to me because of the unbalanced areas of the map. The BLUE side was easier to defend because the distance to the flag seemed a lot further than the Red side. I'd like to see the same done for other levels like "CTF-Command". Say make a "CTF-Command Goo" and a "CTF-Command Ramp". In other words take the two halves and make 2 totally symmetrical levels. If you have seen this level you should understand what I mean by this. :)

A standard conversion. The charm and uniqueness of the map is lost however, but its still good.

I love it Kain try to remember 5 is 'average', not 6-7 :D

I found this really boring and it felt completly different from the original. Sure it was symmetrical but, shit, it was so crappy. The blues never seemed to want to attack except when I was running away with their flag. Needs a few tweaks and a re-think, it could be better.

I'd prefer the original..

This map shouldn't even be downloaded by bot-playing flack spammers, it's for league/ladder games and nothing else.

good for league/ladder matches ;)

Very good layout i love this new version of november Akuma has done a great job, but im guessing Akuma maybe has a problem with ut players who play with bots mostly (some people have a lousey 56k) oh yea the bots stick to the same paths as they did in the november that came with the game, i myself would like to see the bots actually defending there base in both bunkers
